Product principles

Based on real-time PCR, Tianlong SMN1 gene detection kit can identify the copy-number variation of the SMN1 at exons 7 and/or 8, by the primers designed for ARMS-PCR and melting curve method, and two copies of the housekeeping gene as the internal reference. The results after being processed by compatible devices and software can identify SMN1 carrier for SMA genetic testing.
