Thermal process control as a slow process with inevitable delay has been one of the most important challenges for the control engineers in different industries. The presented system can simulate a simple thermal process using a blower and an electrical heater. The air enters the pipe from the blower through an electrical heater. Three high speed temperature sensors have been mounted at the beginning, middle and the end of the pipe. User can investigate the performance of different type of control circuit and the effect of delay on system stability.
